Ways to give
Donate nowCash Donations
Make a tax-deductible donation online or mail your contribution to WISE Program Center: 38 Bank Street, Lebanon, NH 03766. Please make checks out to WISE.
Donor-Advised Funds (DAF)
Donor-Advised Funds allow donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction and recommend grants from the fund over time. Donors can contribute to the fund as frequently as they like and recommend grants to their favorite charitable organizations whenever it makes sense for them.
Gift of Securities, Stocks or Bonds
WISE accepts gifts of long-term appreciated securities. These gifts offer income tax deductions equal to market value while eliminating capital gains taxes. Please email our development office or call 603-448-5922 ext. 119 for more information on how to proceed with your gift.
IRA Qualified Charitable Contribution
Retirement assets can make excellent charitable gifts for both the donor and nonprofits. A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows individuals who are 70 1/2 years old or older to donate directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking their required minimum distributions. Making a charitable gift directly from an IRA reduces future tax burdens and helps meet the required minimum annual distribution.
Planned Giving
Did you know there are ways to support WISE that don’t affect your current lifestyle or your family’s financial security? You can make a gift that costs you nothing during your lifetime and does little, if anything, to impact your current cash flow and may leave your current financial planning unchanged.
By including WISE in your will, trust or beneficiary designation, you can support WISE’s crisis advocacy and prevention education mission while receiving financial and tax benefits for you and your family.
Please email our development office or call 603-448-5922 ext. 119 to discuss the options below in more detail.
Donation Drives
Help keep our emergency supply room stocked. We keep basic necessities such as gift cards, shampoo, lotion, toothpaste, soap, etc. in our Program Center for victims and families fleeing violence. Consider signing up for our Items Wish List email list, and receive notices for specific items we need, when we need them. Community members facilitate donation drives at their workplaces, schools, local pharmacies and grocery stores.
