Howe WISE Ice Cream Social

This summer, WISE and the Howe Library are teaming up to host monthly ice cream socials for teens on Tuesdays, June 25, July 23, and August 20 at 2:00 pm. Teens aged 12-19 can join WISE Educators Emily and Fiona for ice cream sundaes at the Howe library! These monthly gatherings provide the opportunity for teens to gather, ask questions, and share their voice. Click here to learn more.

WISE Connections

WISE Connections are opportunities to deepen connections with yourself, each other, and WISE. Deb Steele, local artist and art therapist, guides us through creative expressions with color, texture, words, and imagination. We meet together either in-person at the WISE Program Center or virtually via Zoom. No experience or ability is required. All materials are provided.

Foundations of Gender-based Violence

Please check back for more information about the fall session or sign up now for our popular Foundations of Gender-based Violence. Sessions introduce the cultural foundations of gender-based violence and we reflect on our history, current norms, and explore the realities of domestic violence, sexual violence and stalking. This training is recommended for all community members interested in understanding our work, becoming a volunteer, or simply curious about how and why gender-based violence exists. Covered Bridges Half Marathon

The 32nd Covered Bridges Half Marathon is in the books! This year, Team WISE had 34 runners out on the course, and seven of them placed in the top 10 of their divisions! The team raised over $25,000 through their personal networks of more than 350 donors. We are always inspired by the strength, dedication, and commitment that our incredible WISE Team brings every year.

If you are interested in running with Team WISE next year, email us! We will add you to our mailing list and reach out in November when early registration opens. Race day is June 1, 2025!
