Foundations of Gender-based Violence
The fall session of Foundations of Gender-based Violence begins on Tuesday, October 3rd. Sessions will be in person on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and introduces the cultural foundations of gender-based violence. We reflect on our history, current norms, and explore the realities of domestic violence, sexual violence and stalking. This training is recommended for all community members interested in understanding our work, becoming a volunteer, or simply curious about how and why gender-based violence exists. To learn more and sign up, check out our new online registration.

Covered Bridges Half Marathon
The 31st Covered Bridges Half Marathon concluded on June 4th, and Team WISE wowed us all. 37 runners ran for WISE, covering 484.7 miles and collectively raising over $31,000. It was a chilly start to the day, but the rain held off and everyone crossed the finish line – many with smiles on their faces – a huge accomplishment. A special shout out to Team WISE members Katharine Ogden for finishing 2nd place for women, and Donnie Surdoval for finishing 7th place for men.
Thank you to everyone who ran for WISE and thank you to all of you who supported our amazing runners. If you would like to join Team WISE next year, please reach out to us. We will start pre-registration in November!
